Please head to the boarding location at Pier M in the North Zone of Portimão Marina, at the end of Rua Simão Correia, 15 minutes before the start time of your tour.

There is a parking area at the end of Rua Simão Correia and it is usually easy to park (except in August).

None of these places are the boarding location for this tour!

Arriving after the start time of the tour does not entitle you to any refund or rescheduling.
It is best to plan your itinerary and also allow enough time for any unforeseen issues such as traffic jams, accidents, or difficulty parking or finding the location.

• Don’t forget to bring sunscreen, a hat, comfortable footwear, a jacket, and water.
• A towel and swimsuit if you want to take a dip (except for the Sunset tour, which does not have a swimming stop).
• Only water or food intended for small children are allowed on board. We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy the available options at our bar, including refreshing drinks and light snacks.
• If you are prone to seasickness, it is best to take a pill 30 minutes before (e.g., Vomidrine) and avoid heavy meals and excessive drinking before and during the boat tour.

• Dogs or other pets are not allowed for the comfort and safety of all passengers on shared tours.
• Strollers and wheelchairs are not permitted inside the boat, not only for safety reasons but also due to space constraints. Small babies can be transported in the “Egg” without wheels.
• We accept a maximum of 5 children and 2 infants per tour. If you do not see the option to book places for children or infants, please try a different time or opt for a private tour.
• This tour is suitable for pregnant women who do not have a high-risk pregnancy.
• Swimming is only allowed for individuals who can swim proficiently. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
• Smoking is only allowed in the rear area of the boat and with the crew’s permission.

Can I leave the boat and swim in the Benagil cave?

It is not allowed to enter and swim in the Benagil cave, whether by swimming or by any other means, such as boat, SUP, kayak, etc. These restrictions have been imposed by local maritime law since mid-August 2024 due to the high risk of rockfalls in the inner beach area, beneath the ceiling opening (algar), and the excessive number of people inside the cave, who were dangerously crossing paths with boats.

These measures have been implemented for safety and environmental preservation reasons.

We recommend enjoying the beauty of the cave from our guided boat tours, which offer a safe and unforgettable view.

Where can I park my car?

There is usually ample parking space near Pier M, at the end of Rua Simão Correia.

Alternatively, you can also park at the Portimão Marina, about a 10-minute walk to the pier entrance.

Can I bring food/drinks?

It is not allowed to bring food and drinks on the Benagil cave tour, except for water and food for small children. To ensure the comfort and safety of everyone on board, please do not bring other foods or beverages.

On our onboard bar, we offer various options, including water, soft drinks, wine, and beer, as well as light snacks like chips and biscuits.

What should I bring for this boat tour?

Bring these essential items for an amazing tour: sunscreen, swimsuit, towel, hat, sunglasses, a jacket, comfortable clothes and shoes, and don’t forget your phone or camera for taking fantastic photos!

Is this tour suitable for children?

Yes, this tour is suitable for the whole family!

Children of all ages are welcome. For safety reasons, there is a maximum limit of 2 infants and 5 children per tour. More children can be accommodated on private tours.

Attention all super parents! Important: running is not allowed on our boat for safety reasons – we declare a no-running zone! And for the little adventurers, it’s best to stay seated, especially when the sea decides to dance with some waves.

During the tour, remind your little explorers not to touch buttons, ropes, or any boat devices! And of course, make sure they are not wandering unsupervised near the water.

So, superhero guardians, let’s keep everything safe and seated for a smooth sailing experience!

Why can’t I book with children or infants on a certain date/time?

There is a maximum number of 5 children and 2 infants per tour.

When other reservations have already reached the maximum number of children and infants, it will not be possible to make a booking. Please choose another date or time.

What languages does the tour guide speak?

Our tour guides are fluent in both Portuguese and English, providing a bilingual experience to ensure everyone can enjoy the trip.
